With over 15 years of experience as a compliance manager across reputed firms in the financial services sector, Sonal joined SteelRose in August 2021 as its Legal and Compliance Officer. Sonal is in charge of ensuring overall compliance health for the firm which covers identification and implementation of applicable guidelines/regulations, roll out of compliance policies/procedures, guiding clients on AML norms, license renewals, coordination, and interaction with regulatory bodies, continuous training, and development for staff.

She specializes in managing company secretarial, compliance and risk functions and has significant exposure in entity structuring, advisory matters pertaining to foreign portfolio investors registration and KYC matters.
